• Senior Azure Cloud Network Engineer

    Job Description

    An employer is seeking a Network Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in Azure environments and micro-segmentation. This role will be 98% focused on Azure infrastructure, with occasional work involving Juniper and edge connectivity. Key responsibilities will include:

     

    • Design and implement micro-segmentation strategies using Azure tools (AZ-700 certification preferred).

    • Act as the subject-matter expert for Azure Cloud migration and collaborate with other Network Engineers to teach best practices with Azure infrastructure.

    • Work alongside the Project and Program manager to ensure migration requirements are built-out.

    • Segment networks based on server and data purpose to enforce strict communication boundaries.

    • Enhance security posture by limiting lateral movement in case of breaches.

    • Collaborate with teams to define device-to-device communication rules and isolate sensitive systems.

     

    Support edge connectivity and Juniper-related configurations as needed.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience working as a Network Engineer

    • Experience leading an On-Prem to Azure Cloud migration

    • AZ-700 Certification

    • Micro-Segmentation Experience

    • Strong communication skills
