Job Description

We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Varonis Engineer (3–5 years of experience) to support DaaS security posture management and remediation efforts. This role will collaborate closely with Cybersecurity and Application Owners to address and remediate risks, optimize Varonis platform configurations, and improve alerting and incident response workflows.

Once the rollout is complete and the migration from the legacy environment is finalized, the engineer will lead efforts to remediate data, operationalize workflows, and build pipelines to support ongoing security operations.

• Lead remediation efforts across SaaS and on-prem platforms using Varonis, working with application owners to address identified risks.

• Configure Varonis dashboards, generate reports, and drive conversations with internal stakeholders to improve security posture.

• Build automation and tooling to support operations and incident response teams.

• Troubleshoot support escalation cases and contribute to real-time collaborative response improvements.

• Enhance alerting systems by integrating Varonis capabilities with automation and contextual enrichment for on-call responders.

• Maintain and update runbooks, tools, and documentation to prepare teams for future incidents.

• Conduct and document post-incident reviews, ensuring actionable follow-ups.

• Continuously refine documentation based on incident learnings and operational feedback.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to operationalize security workflows and build scalable pipelines for data remediation and posture management.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or Data security posture management.

• Hands-on experience with Varonis and other DSPM/cloud security posture tools.

• Strong understanding of security platforms, data access governance, and remediation workflows.

• Excellent communication skills—able to engage via email, Teams, and meetings with clarity and professionalism.

• Highly organized and proactive; able to take initiative and drive progress independently.

• Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Shell, Python) and automation tools.

• Experience working with incident response teams and updating operational documentation. • Cybersecurity or cloud certification (e.g., Varonis, Security+, CISSP, AWS Security, Azure Security).

• Experience with Varonis or similar data security platforms.

• Background in Security Analysis or Engineering with a focus on operational excellence.
