SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Quality and Compliance Manager, the Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the timely and high-performance execution of compliance activities, as well as the growth and development of people, processes, and systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
+ Oversee scheduling and coordination of employees who are involved in the inspection and verification of products based on scheduled customer orders, established priorities, and availability and capability of workers and equipment.
+ Determine capacity requirements for meeting internal commit dates and customer demand.
+ Ensure employees have necessary training, tools, and support to be fully effective in their positions.
+ Develop and sustain an atmosphere that encourages employee teamwork and participation to exceed customer expectations while driving continuous improvement.
+ Effectively interact with a cross-functional team to meet product delivery dates.
+ Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
+ Set quality compliance objectives and ensure that targets are achieved.
+ Define, develop, and implement quality procedures to detail operational steps for effective execution.
+ Support data flow and identification on area continuous improvement boards
+ Support kaizen activity and related activities
+ Foster an inclusive workplace by actively addressing biases and promoting diversity.

Supervisory responsibilities involve overseeing and managing a team or individual to ensure adequate performance and job satisfaction and contribute to individuals’ career goals.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
_Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis_
+ Bachelor’s degree with three (3) or more years of relevant quality and manufacturing experience, or high school diploma and 7+ years of relevant quality and manufacturing experience.
+ CMM experience with programming, setup, operation, optimization and troubleshooting preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
+ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
+ Conversational in any other language is a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
+ Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
+ Statistics: Interpret and analyze numerical data using statistical methods.
+ Basic Geometry: The ability to understand and work with shapes, angles, lines, and planes.
JOB SKILLS
+ Experience within the Aerospace Industry with exposure to AS9100 and FAA regulations preferred.
+ Outstanding organizational skills and experience with managing multiple deadlines at once.
+ Strong technical skills include the ability to read and understand technical drawings.
+ Proficient in communicating information to individuals and groups in both written and presentation form.
+ Strong desire to work in a team made up of a cross functional group of individuals.
+ Self-starter that can work extended hours as required to satisfy customer deadlines.
+ Proficient in MS Office
+ Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.
+ Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced, constantly changing, and ambiguous environment while maintaining a positive team environment.
+ Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meet customer demands.
+ Understanding and experience in Lean manufacturing environment preferred. Participate in continuous improvement projects and 5S related performance teams.
+ A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills with high ethical standards and a positive professional image.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
As part of their job duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day while frequently using their hands to handle objects and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to reach, stretch, push, pull, crouch, stoop, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. This role requires specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
+ ASTM F–2412–2005, ANSI Z41–1999, or ANSI Z41–1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
+ Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
+ Hearing protection in specific locations.
+ Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
