Overview
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Lead Cleaner** to oversee and perform cleaning operations in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will ensure that all cleaning protocols meet strict industry standards for hygiene, safety, and compliance, while also supervising a team of cleaners to maintain a sterile and organized facility.
**Pay:** $ 22.00 an hour
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Shift: Sunday 6am-2:30pm, Tuesday-Friday 8pm-4:30am

Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership
+ Lead and coordinate daily cleaning activities of the janitorial team.
+ Train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
+ Monitor performance and provide feedback to ensure high standards are maintained.
Cleaning & Sanitation
+ Perform and oversee cleaning of cleanrooms, laboratories, production areas, and common spaces.
+ Ensure proper use of cleaning agents and equipment in accordance with SOPs and safety guidelines.
+ Maintain logs and documentation for cleaning schedules and compliance audits.
Compliance & Safety
+ Ensure all cleaning activities comply with FDA, OSHA, and GMP regulations.
+ Conduct regular inspections and report any deviations or maintenance needs.
+ Promote a culture of safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.
Inventory & Supplies
+ Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and PPE.
+ Coordinate with procurement to replenish stock as needed.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or pharmaceutical cleaning.
+ Prior supervisory experience preferred.
+ Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and regulatory compliance standards.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts as needed.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
+ Comfortable working in controlled environments with PPE.
+ Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
