    The role you'll contribute:

    The Regulatory & Quality Improvement Manager is a qualified individual who provides leadership, direction and support for regulatory readiness, quality improvement, and continuous improvement plans for safety culture and regulatory compliance. The manager is responsible for providing a planned, systemic approach to identifying, designing, measuring and monitoring all quality improvement activities. The managers scope of work includes education and training on patient safety programs and regulatory guidelines for all team members within the organization, including executives; leadership of teams and large groups across the facility and region; management of the investigation, analysis and monitoring of all quality improvement activities; continuous management of patient safety data; and compliance with regulatory standards/guidelines. Functions as a key member of the region regulatory, quality and patient safety teams.

    The value you'll bring to the team:

    + Develops, implements and annually evaluates the hospitals quality assurance and performance improvement program to ensure a highly reliable system approach to patient safety, quality, and the journey to zero harm

    + Responsible for oversight of the quality improvement program

    + Demonstrates commitment to patient safety and protecting patients and providers by advocating safe practices and policies

    + Responsible for the analysis and trending of key quality improvement metrics and information exchange between quality leaders, impacted departments, and hospital leadership

    + Holds paramount the safety, health, and welfare of the public in the performance of professional duties and escalates patient safety concerns to appropriate leadership, up to and including executives, with honesty and integrity

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

    **Minimum qualifications** :

    + BS degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Nursing or Clinical Operations or 10 years experience in clinical healthcare setting

    + Minimum of 3 years experience in Quality or Performance Improvement

    + Organizing and leading improvement teams

    + Successful accreditation and Leapfrog reviews

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)

    + Health Care Quality & Management Certification (HCQM)

    + Certified Joint Commission Professional (CJCP)

    + Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS)

    + Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM)

    + Team STEPPS Certification

    + LEAN Performance Improvement Certification

    + Six Sigma Performance Improvement Certification
