    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

    Duration: 12 Months Contract

    Details:

    We are actively seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team in McKinney, TX.

     

    This is an onsite position that operates on the 1st shift and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to national defense initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    **Bonding and Curing:** Utilize resins and adhesives following established shop processes for bonding and curing.

    **Assembly of Military Electronics:** Employ torque tools and other manual tools to assemble military electronics, adhering to detailed assembly instructions and drawings.

    **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, factory management, program management, and fellow assemblers/testers.

    **Mentorship:** Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

    **Required Qualifications** :

    **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.

    **Experience:** A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or factory operations.

    **Skills:** Proficiency in assembly processes and experience using hand tools.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    **Bonding and Curing:** Experience with bonding and curing processes.

    **Technical Documentation:** Ability to read and interpret memory maps, schematics, datasheets, and assembly drawings.

    **Teamwork and Communication:** Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    **Clean Room Experience** : Familiarity with clean room protocols and environments. Build Submarines
