    Posting Description

    TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE II/LAB MANAGER, Biological Engineering - Jasanoff Lab, to manage the daily operations of a neuroscience and molecular imaging research laboratory comprising 13 lab members; have oversight of animal husbandry and surgery, histological analysis, imaging workflows, and maintenance of laboratory infrastructure.

    Job Requirements

    REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, biology, bioengineering, chemistry, or a related discipline; a minimum of four years of relevant laboratory experience, including two years of experience as a lab manager; in-depth experience with rodent husbandry, surgery, histological analysis, and imaging; excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; experience in data analysis and scientific computing; experience with cell culture methods; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment; experience in working with various teams and leading collaborative work; strong leadership and managerial skills; interest and desire to work with the lab long-term; and experience with in vivo imaging and preclinical MRI in particular.

     

    Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights/weekends, and an ability to respond to laboratory emergencies outside of regular work hours.
