    Position Summary

    This position will perform engineering tasks within the product and/or manufacturing engineering groups as assigned by engineering personnel. An intern is defined as a student working to gain engineering experience while school in not in session such as summer break. A Coop is defined as a student working to gain engineering experience instead of taking classes.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform engineering related tasks as assigned by engineering personnel.

    + Evaluate products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

    + Design products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

    + Improve products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

    + Cost reduces products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

    + Validate products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.

    + Create/update engineering drawings.

    + Model with 3D CAD products, tooling, machines and/or processes.

    + Perform engineering change orders (ECOs)

    + Prototype products, tooling, machines and/or processes.

    + Prepare reports.

    + Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.

    Qualifications

    Pursuing a degree in Engineering
