Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Beachwood, Ohio. This role involves managing essential accounting tasks, including financial reporting and tax preparation, to support our organization's financial health and compliance. Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting activities, including the accurate recording of investment transactions.

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for endowment funds, charitable trusts, and supporting foundations, ensuring data integrity and clarity.

• Generate schedules for year-end consolidation and draft footnotes for external audits.

• Assist with the preparation of tax filings, including the organization’s 990 forms.

• Complete tax returns for charitable trusts and supporting foundations, adhering to regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate on special projects and additional tasks as assigned to support organizational goals. Requirements • Familiarity with accounting practices for nonprofit organizations.

• Proficiency in managing general ledger activities and ensuring accuracy.

• Experience or knowledge in corporate tax compliance.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Entry-level candidates with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
