    Our recruiting firm is partnering with a growing small business to hire an Accounting Manager who will oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support leadership with accurate financial insights. This is a hands-on Accounting Manager role ideal for someone who enjoys the variety and impact that comes with working in a smaller business environment.

    About the Accounting Manager Role:

    The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing timely reporting to support decision-making. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can balance daily tasks with bigger-picture financial management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee daily accounting operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger

    + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

    + Manage cash flow and support budgeting/forecasting processes

    + Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax requirements

    + Partner with leadership to analyze financial performance and recommend improvements

    + Supervise and support accounting staff (if applicable)

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred but NOT REQUIRED

    + 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles

    + Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

    + Experience in a small business environment preferred—must be comfortable with a hands-on role

    + Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
