    Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Support Bank compliance with federal, state, and local legal regulations by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

    + Provide administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies, completing projects in support of compliance examiners and auditors, and special projects specific to regulatory compliance.

    + Review, create and log and CRA packages for reporting and examiner/auditor review including CRA donations, CRA services, Community Development loans, small business/small farm loans, and qualifying investments. Preparation of quarterly CRA bank Officer updates and Committee updates.

    + Assist with compliance-related tasks as assigned, including specialized projects.

    Other Duties as Assigned:

    + Review all Notice of Actions on deposit account requests.

    + Generate and review daily system parameter reports.

    + Review and log customer complaints.

    + Maintain bank training log.

    + Assist by answering general compliance questions and responding to requests.

    + Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.

    + Enhance compliance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    + Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

    + Knowledge of general mathematic applications

    + Strong organizational and planning skills

    + Understanding of the regulatory process and maintain a proficient knowledge of specific regulations through self-development and formal training.

    + Verbal/written communication skills able to communicate tactfully with all levels of bank personnel showing consideration to other team members.

    + Ability to multitask issues and projects while maintaining composure when working under pressure or stress.

    + Ability to learn specialty software programs as necessary.

    + Excellent research skills with the ability to design and conduct a systematic, objective and critical investigation.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Number Facility -- The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly.

    + Speech Clarity -- The ability to speak clearly, so others can understand you both in person and over the phone.

    + Near Vision -- The ability to review customer information on the computer, on documents as well as, visually identify customer identity.

    + Mathematical Reasoning -- The ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem.

    + Reading Comprehension -- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

    + Physical Requirements – Lifting – The ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs. up to a height of 3-4 ft. Standing/sitting - Must have the ability to remain in stationary positions 75% of the workday. Dexterity – The ability to operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, adding machine, copy machine and printer.

    + Active Learning -- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision-making. The ability to learn technical material.
