    **Compensation Range:** $23.80 - 31.73/HR

    **Shift** : 2nd Shift - 4:00pm – 12:00pm (Mon – Fri)

    **Shift Differential:** +10%

    A Day in the Life:

    + Perform fit-for-purpose testing, following operating procedures, in support of manufacturing including in-line and finished product release testing using various analytical techniques.

    + Perform daily calibrations for equipment and perform standardization of reagents.

    + Perform sampling, managing retentions, reagents and standards. The position requires the ability to handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

    + Create and receive requisitions/purchase orders.

    + Receive, label, and store chemicals, reagents, and lab supplies.

    + Coordinate External lab testing by preparing samples and following the submission process.

    + Apply your knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Processes focusing on supporting continuous improvement activities.

    + Maintain general lab housekeeping.

    + Additional Tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

     

    How will you get here?

    Education:

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Bachelor’s degree Preferred) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 year (2 years preferred) of industry or other relevant market experience, preferably in chemistry or bio/pharmaceutical industry.

    • Hands-on experience with wet chemistry and basic Analytical instruments is preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    • Familiarity with Analytical test methods including ACS, USP/NF, EP/BP, JP, FCC preferred.

    • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.

    • Excellent communication (oral and written) with attention to detail, including problem-solving

    + Hands-on experience using Excel, Word & Outlook. Familiarity with Access and database.

    • Engage in process improvement initiatives to identify cost savings to the business.
