    Job Purpose

     

    Responsible for and provides support in functional areas of Operations including but not limited to administrative support, personnel records, employee relations, training, leave of absence reporting and special projects.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    + Preparing reports by collecting and analyzing information.

    + Provide Support to M&M Committee responsible for developing programs/events that build motivation and retention within the plant.

    + Assist with the preparation of affirmative action plan, quarterly goal reports and EEO reporting. Be responsible for all applicants flow data entry.

    + Lead and participate in lean / continuous improvement initiatives in support of department goals.

    + Lead the plant in consistent policies and procedures practices outlined through the employee handbook.

    + Coordinate the Annual Hourly Performance process to include 90day follow-up for new hires. Chart and prepare analysis of ratings by selected categories.

    + Assist in controlling departmental and provide input for preparation of department annual budget.

    + Responsible for hourly training and development to include technical skill level testing.

    + Responsible for executing service awards and employee recognition.

    + Complete special organizational projects on an as needed basis.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree re preferred

    + 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment, Prior HR Experience preferred.

    + Intermediate User Level in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Basic User Level in MS Access

    + Ability to learn HCM, Work Force Time & Attendance, and/or other internal software programs (as needed)

    + Ability to read and locate information well, understand applied technology, use/apply basic and intermediate math skills.

    + Observe and listen effectively.

    + Communicate well verbally and in writing.

    + Lead and actively participate in a teaming environment.

    + Ability to effectively motivate, manage and lead others.
