Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, statistical models, and machine learning algorithms. You will work closely with the team to solve complex problems and drive business decisions using data. This role requires strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for data.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze large, complex datasets to extract insights and determine appropriate techniques to use
+ Build predictive models, machine learning algorithms and conduct A/B tests to assess the effectiveness of models.
+ Present information using data visualization techniques.
+ Collaborate with different teams (e.g., product development, marketing) and stakeholders to understand business needs and devise possible solutions.
+ Stay updated with the latest technology trends in data science.
+ Develop and implement real-time machine learning models for various projects.
+ Engage with clients and consultants to gather and understand project requirements and expectations.
+ Write well-structured, detailed, and compute-efficient code in Python to facilitate data analysis and model development.
+ Utilize IDEs such as Jupyter Notebook, Spyder, and PyCharm for coding and model development.
+ Apply agile methodology in project execution, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
Job Requirements
+ Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and R.
+ Experience with SQL and familiarity with databases like Snowflake and Oracle.
+ Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
+ Solid understanding of mathematics, statistics, algorithms, and hands-on experience with machine learning/statistical techniques, including regression, classification, and ensemble methods.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
+ Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
+ Proficiency in relational data modeling.
+ Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
+ Proficiency in MS Excel.
+ Knowledge of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
+ Exposure to big data platforms like Hadoop and Spark.
+ Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and explain complex results to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for accuracy.
+ Experience in training, fine-tuning, and deploying open-source LLMs.
+ Experience with DataRobot, Azure ML Studio, or other automated machine learning platforms.
Education
+ IC - Typically requires 8+ years of related industry experience
+ Master Degree Required in related field.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 158,950 - 236,500 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
