    Job Description

    A Fortune 500 client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join a team within their IT Supply Chain division. This team is focused on building out a Warehouse Execution System that integrates with existing WMS platforms. This is a role where you’ll:

    • Write software that interfaces with PLCs (not PLC logic itself)

    • Collaborate with hardware vendors and internal teams

    • Build scalable, reliable integration layers

    • Ensure seamless communication between systems and devices

     

    This role does work 100% remote, and pays between $70-80/hr. depending on experience.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -10+ years of experience in software engineering using Flutter, React, Java, GraphQL

     

    -Background in Supply Chain working with warehouse management systems, warehouse control systems, and warehouse execution systems

     

    -Deep experience with control systems and integration work

     

    -Experience interfacing with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)

     

    -Familiarity with vendors like Dematic, Honeywell, Daifuku

     

    -Proven ability to work independently and drive solutions -Deep experience with control systems and integration work

     

    -Expert level Java coding experience (10+ years)
