Responsible for the delivery of leadership and professional development, primarily virtual training but may also include some in-person training that requires travel. Monitors and reports the effectiveness of training of employees. May be involved in classroom and content design. This role must be able to master the operational processes, products and system applications taught in the program.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitation of Learning
+ Provides clear directions for learning activities and exercises
+ Explains the purpose of the course content and its components
+ Uses learning aids effectively
+ Presents a road map of the course or unit
+ Makes transitions
+ Summarizes key learning points
+ Explains or seeks the benefits of using the course and its components
+ Demonstrates content knowledge
Guiding Learners
+ Provides timely coaching to learners
+ Appropriately redirects learners
+ Uses process skills (check for understanding and make procedural suggestions)
+ Delivers content in a logical sequence
+ Manages time effectively
Engaging Communication
+ Holds audience attention
+ Provides and seeks examples and analogies
+ Shares relevant business/industry, organizational, and personal context
+ Uses appropriate non-verbal and verbal communication
+ Acts as an advocate for the course and its components
Facilitator EQ (Emotional Intelligence)
+ Manages emotional classroom situations
+ Maintains or enhances learner self-esteem
+ Listens and responds to learners with empathy
+ Encourages learner involvement
Program Management and Support
+ Analyzes participant evaluations for opportunities to improve
+ Provides feedback to Learning Manager to keep program up-to-date

Minimum** **Requirements
Education
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related area preferred
Certification/License
+ Valid state driver’s license in good standing
Experience
+ Proven team leadership skills, with 5+ years of experience
+ Five years of experience in training development and training delivery
+ Cemetery and Funeral industry knowledge not mandatory but preferred
+ Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) not mandatory for role but preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Knowledge of our core lines of business: Cemetery Operations, Funeral Home Operations, Sales
+ Willingness to effectively identify and coach correct behaviors
+ Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
+ Works well independently and remotely
+ Communicates effectively with attendees, business stakeholders and colleagues.
+ Competent in the use of technology such as WebEx, Adobe Connect, Power Point, Outlook, Excel
+ Willingness to learn internal systems such as Workday
+ Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills
+ Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Work CONDITIONS
Work Environment
+ Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions
+ Local and/or multiple location traveling required
+ Comply with Corporate dress code policy, and when traveling Field dress code policy
Work Postures
+ Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day
+ Climbing stairs to access buildings frequently
Physical Demands
+ Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage
