Operating Room Supervisor – Lead with Care, Serve with Compassion

We’re seeking a **hands-on clinical leader** to join our Outpatient Surgery Center team. As the **Operating Room Supervisor** , you'll blend direct patient care with leadership responsibilities—supporting daily OR operations, mentoring staff, and collaborating with physicians to ensure excellence in safety, quality, and outcomes.

In this dynamic role, you will:

+ **Deliver direct patient care** in the OR, functioning as a Staff RN, including circulating and scrubbing.

+ **Coordinate specialty service lines** —manage instruments, supplies, equipment, and surgical readiness.

+ **Supervise and support staff** : oversee hiring, training, evaluations, and daily performance.

+ **Lead education efforts** : support onboarding, skill development, and in-service training.

+ **Collaborate with physicians & leadership** to optimize workflow, resource use, and patient outcomes.

+ **Ensure quality & safety** through proactive problem-solving and process improvement.

Education Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing Required

Experience Qualifications

+ Minimum 2 years nursing experience in operating room Required and

+ Previous supervisory or lead experience Preferred

Skills and Abilities

+ Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills.

+ Surgical Scrub knowledge preferred

Licenses and Certifications

+ RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Required and

+ BCLS - Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association Required and

+ PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
