Serve a key role on Source to Pay (STP) transformation initiatives providing
process design expertise. Analyze existing processes to uncover inefficiencies,
lead process design improvement workshops, and guide teams in the creation of improved processes. Work with Micron Procurement to define the future state of P2P business processes by data gathering, analysis, and problem solving. Continuously engage with procurement leadership and cross functional business clients to drive standard methodology adoption, optimized system utilization and continuous process improvement outcomes. Providing thought leadership regarding improvement initiative roadmaps through awareness of industry best practices, as-is performance gaps related to service delivery, cost structure, quality & efficiency. Engaging with Procure to Pay Global Process Owners & service delivery organizations to globally align metrics, scorecards, &
performance measurements. Analyzing performance gaps to identify wasteful
and inefficient points in the process & diagnosing root cause problems.
Recommending process, methods, system & capability solutions to sustain
performance improvement that satisfies the business requirements and
recognizes a return on investment. Identify standard methodologies and
recommend appropriate changes in process and/or approach. Update and
maintain documentation on process improvements and performance. Capture
and analyze data to find ways to improve Procurement Operations. Prototype
business process solutions, tool, policies, and protocols. Develop and execute
project plans of overall process improvement activities including scope, goals,
results, tasks, assignments, due dates, dependencies, anticipated needs, and
accomplishments. Monitor the progress of tasks and assignments to assure
timely action, appropriate management support, and achievement of expected
outcomes. Present reports on progress and recommendations to partners.
Implement and manage change when vital to meet project outputs. Develop
control plans to measure the effectiveness of changes/improvements.
Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field
followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a GPCOE Process Transformation Manager-related occupation.
Position also requires experience in:
1. Source to Pay/Procure to Pay processes and technology knowledge
2. Developing and understanding business cases
3. Procurement standard methodologies and technology
4. Six Sigma/Lean Methodologies and/or ability to identify process efficiency,
improvements and enhancements and drive implementation cross-functionally.
5. Operational process optimization and elimination of tactical redundancy
