Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides first line supervision for Special Procedures, and Radiology Nurses, including supervision of supply inventories.

Coordinates schedules of areas of supervision, participates in selection of new employees, and evaluates each employee as required.

Reviews and revises policies, procedures, and protocols annually, in conjunction with radiologists.

Organizes/prioritizes nursing care for assignments in Radiology. Administers medications following the Five Rights of Medication Administration.

Initiates and documents pre-procedure teaching and discharge planning, involving patient and/or significant other.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

+ (ARRT-R) Radiography

+ Associate Degree
