Job Summary and Qualifications

Demonstrates clinical competence to practice within Central Sterile’s Scope of Care.

Manages day to day operations of assigned unit ensuring decisions, actions and group performance

contributes to achievement of the unit, department, and hospital’s goals and mission.

Communicates effectively with staff, peers, Surgical Director, external and internal customer.

Utilizes quality improvement as basis to improve unit/departmental process.

Pursues own professional growth and development.

Maintains unit readiness for regulatory surveys.

Assumes accountability for decisions and actions.

Provides opportunities for employee development.

Adheres to hospital policies and procedures, supports the mission of the hospital.

EXPERIENCE

4+ years Management experience in hospital setting with knowledge of instrumentation

and sterile process - Required

Basic computer word processing skills. - Required

5 years CSS Management and Operating Room Supply Experience - Preferred

EDUCATION

CSS Certification Course or Licensed RN or LPN - Required

Bachelors with CS and pursuing Masters - Preferred
