Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Psychiatry Associate Program Director to assist with a 31-resident GME program in Nashville, TN.

Qualified Candidates:

+ Board Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

+ Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain

+ DEA with full prescriptive authority

+ Experience in research desired but not required

+ Experience preferred

+ Commitment to providing high quality, evidenced based patient care

+ Previous participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program or graduate medical education administrative experience is highly desired

Responsibilities:

+ Practice and teach full-spectrum adult psychiatry

+ 100% outpatient

+ Provide clinical supervision of residents

+ Experience in research desired but not required

+ Commitment to providing high quality, evidenced based patient care

+ Provide clinical supervision of residents

+ Serve as an advisor and role model

+ Teach didactics and lead curriculum development

+ Commitment to teach psychiatric residents and shape the future of psychiatry

+ 10 hrs. per week dedicated to the APD role

+ 30 hrs. per week dedicated to outpatient clinical work
