    Description:

    PACIFIC COAST BUILDING SERVICES, INC. IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR AN

    ACCOUNTING INTERN

    POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Hourly

     

    WAGE SCALE: $20.00 - $22.00

    RESPONSIBILITIES :

    + Assists in the preparation of financial reporting for PCBS and related subsidiaries

    + Participate in month- and quarter-end close procedures

    + Maintaining business licenses renewals and applications

    + Help reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve discrepancies.

    + Assist in processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports.

    + Support the preparation and processing of payments.

    + Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

    + Prepare periodic reports related to accounts payable activities and department performance

    + Provide general administrative support to the accounting department.

    + Assist in processing and maintaining fixed assets

    + Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS :

    + Currently enrolled and taking classes towards an associate or bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting/Finance or a recent graduate.

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

    + Experience with Microsoft Excel is a plus.

    + Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers and managers.

    + Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills and time management abilities

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

    + Knowledge on the usage of PC, Printers, Digital Copier
