The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Principal Network Engineer - Cyberspace Network Operations (CNO) to provide research support administration services for our government customer in Ft. Belvoir, VA .

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Provides subject matter expertise in Information Technologies.

+ As a SETA, the candidate will need to look at efforts objectively and provide independent assessments and recommendations.

+ Provides IT expertise and represents customer/user needs during the development of architecture data, reference models, and architectural alternatives and products.

+ Provides support in the translation of mission requirements into IT service needs and requirements, designs, and orders.

+ Assemble acquisition documents for purchase request packages.

+ Proactively evaluates new services and technologies and makes mission-focused impact and gap assessments Planning and coordinating an organization's Infrastructure strategic and long-range goals, management concepts, and business practices.

+ Assist with coordination, analysis, and execution of technical strategies to address changing DoD IT policies, reforms, and optimization efforts that could impact mission support.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

+ Must have a Bachelors degree.

+ Masters degree preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

+ High level of creativity and complexity to research and recommend solutions.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen (Born or Naturalized).

+ Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance.
