Spirit AeroSystems designs and builds aerostructures for both commercial and defense customers. With headquarters in Wichita, Kansas, Spirit operates sites in the U.S., U.K., France and Malaysia. Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

+ Key member of a team responsible for synchronizing the supply chain to procure goods and services for the company.

+ Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality parts.

+ Acts as an authorized agent of the company, managing supplier-related activities and committing company resources through contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.

+ Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates contracts, and manages post-award supplier activities.

+ Manages inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier performance.

+ Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

+ 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related field

+ High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Skills:

+ Data-driven and analytically minded, with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.

+ Advanced Excel skills

+ Proficiency in Office 365/Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ MRP Systems knowledge, SAP experience preferred

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

+ High-energy, dynamic personality with the ability to drive change and improvement.

+ Knowledge and experience within the aerospace or manufacturing industries is a plus.
