• Staff Accountant

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Cape Girardeau, MO)


    Description Robert Half Talent Solutions is partnering with a growing company searching for a Senior Accountant.

    Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will:

    • Assist in the month end closing process and preparation of financial statements.

    • Balance sheet and bank account reconciliations.

     

    Monthly variance analysis of income statement and corporate expenses.

     

    • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules.

    • Assist with process improvement and internal control initiatives.

    • Assist in the oversight of accounts receivable and accounts payable.

    • Enhance efficiency through process automation and support ERP system implementations.

    • Perform other accounting-related duties or projects as assigned.

    Desired Senior Accountant qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.

    • 5+ years of full cycle accounting experience and strong knowledge of GAAP accounting.

    • ERP systems (experience with Great Plains is a bonus).

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and data modeling.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels of the organization.

     

    Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package and base salary to $105k.
