    Minimum Requirements:

    NYS Teacher Certification

    Desired Qualifications:

    Session 1: 10/18-11/22

     

    Session 2: 1/10-2/14

     

    Session 3: 4/11-5/16

     

    Commitment to timeliness and attendance for the duration of the sessions.

     

    Experience supporting students in credit recovery, intervention, or academic remediation.

     

    Strong ability to build relationships with at-risk students and foster a supportive, encouraging learning environment.

     

    Familiarity with online learning platforms (e.g., Fuel).

     

    Strong communication skills to collaborate with administrators, counselors, families, and colleagues.

     

    Commitment to equity, student success, and maintaining high expectations for all learners.

    Position Summary/Responsibilities:

    Foster a positive, respectful, and motivating environment that encourages students to remain on track for graduation.

     

    Provide direct instructional support in assigned subject area(s), including small-group and one-on-one assistance.

     

    Monitor student progress in online credit recovery coursework and provide targeted intervention as needed.

     

    Maintain accurate records of student attendance, engagement, and credit completion.

     

    Ensure student safety and supervision during program hours.
