Job Title: AMHS Manager Job Description

The AMHS Manufacturing Manager will lead new technology transfers, set up new production lines, and focus on wafer manufacturing across multiple modules and departments. This role involves production improvement to ensure smooth operations, people management, and business-related functions. The position will work within a 4nm Lab, contributing to the excellence of a 300mm semiconductor manufacturing system, improving equipment productivity, and reducing delivery cycle times.

Responsibilities

+ Lead new technology transfers and set up new production lines.

+ Focus on wafer manufacturing across multiple modules and departments.

+ Improve production operations and processes.

+ Manage and develop a team, ensuring effective people management.

+ Collaborate with Engineering, Process Integration, and Yield Improvement teams.

+ Enhance equipment productivity and delivery cycle times.

+ Integrate machine and equipment applications to create effective scheduling systems.

+ Meet production capacity targets and improve fab operation control.

+ Reduce operational variability.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in the semiconductor industry with DFK or Muratec AMHS systems or other AMHS suppliers.

+ Knowledge of equipment and semiconductor manufacturing systems.

+ Understanding of scheduling systems or optimization algorithms.

+ Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.

+ Solid technical understanding of IC processing equipment and integrated flows.

+ Understanding of machine learning and deep learning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1-10 years of experience in people management and development.

+ Leading a team of at least 3 people with engineer direct reports.

+ 3-15 years of overall experience in the semiconductor industry.

+ BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical and Automation Engineering, or Computer Science preferred.

+ 2+ years of experience working on Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS).

Work Environment

The position will work in a Fab and production floor environment, engaging with high-volume manufacturing processes. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in a cleanroom and automated manufacturing handling system environment. The work setting will focus on innovation and excellence, ideal for those passionate about transforming ideas into impactful products.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
