Description Robert Half is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to support our client in Southington, CT. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to assist in strategic decision-making. Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for optimizing financial performance. Collaborate with various departments to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities. Build complex financial models and present insights to management teams. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate actionable insights. Streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy using advanced tools and strategies. Assist with month-end close tasks, including account reconciliation and journal entries. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field. detail oriented experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, or corporate finance. Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong knowledge of forecasting techniques, budgeting processes, and financial modeling. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Effective communication skills and ability to present data to non-financial stakeholders. Knowledge of accounting principles and month-end close processes is preferred.
