Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to design and install electrical equipment, facilities, components, and systems for industrial purposes. The role involves troubleshooting electrical and controls issues to support manufacturing reliability and assisting technicians in the fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment. You will identify investments for the continued improvement of manufacturing and facility equipment/processes and coordinate work conducted by outside contractors on building, process, and equipment electrical/control systems.

Responsibilities

+ Develop applications of controls, instruments, and systems for industrial uses.

+ Perform, direct, and coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.

+ Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to complete engineering tasks.

+ Collaborate closely with mechanical engineering, technicians, and production staff.

+ Conduct training with associates when necessary.

+ Research and implement advanced technology in tooling, automation, and mechanization to reduce manufacturing costs.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, or an associate's degree with 5+ years’ experience.

+ Proficiency in developing designs and creating engineering drawings using CAD software.

+ Experience with SolidWorks.

+ Proficiency in lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools.

+ Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and NEC.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in Web Converting, Paper/Pulp Converting, or similar high-speed, rotating equipment environment.

+ Experience in a multi-shift manufacturing facility.

Work Environment

This position is on-site 5 days per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
