Job Title: General Superintendent Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Superintendent to oversee a significant HVAC system upgrade project. This role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring project success through collaboration with clients, design teams, and contractors, and maintaining a 'Safety First' culture on-site. The position requires professional interaction with the end client and thorough quality control and assurance.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure project success.

+ Build and maintain a 'Safety First' culture at the jobsite.

+ Conduct quality control and quality assurance measures.

+ Coordinate and manage subcontractors and jobsite logistics daily.

+ Collect, review, and submit shop drawings.

+ Develop and update construction and 'look ahead' schedules.

+ Review estimates with the operations team to ensure logistical and site considerations are met.

+ Coordinate the execution of Method of Procedure (M.O.P.) efforts.

+ Complete daily and weekly reports and maintain a photo journal of progress.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience as an assistant superintendent or superintendent, preferably on industrial projects.

+ Experience working on projects valued up to $10 million.

+ Safety oversight experience with OSHA 30 certification.

+ Procore or similar software experience for construction scheduling.

+ Strong construction management skills.

+ Effective client interaction capabilities.

+ Subcontractor management expertise.

Work Environment

This position involves overseeing multiple subcontractors in a professional setting, requiring a polished presentation when interacting with end clients. The project spans from 10/14 to 3/1/25, with a possibility of extension. Emphasis is on safety and effective collaboration, with opportunities for career growth in future projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Henderson, Nevada.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
