Job Title: Senior Project Architect Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Senior Project Architect to join our dynamic team. Our firm is a full-service architectural and engineering company, offering comprehensive design services across various markets, including education, healthcare, commercial, data centers, research and development, sports, recreation, athletics, and industrial sectors. Responsibilities

+ Demonstrate effectiveness in team settings, communicate clearly with others, and ensure customer satisfaction.

+ Participate in business development efforts in one or more of the specified market segments.

+ Independently provide the full range of architectural services on small to medium-sized projects.

+ Create and develop planning and design concepts for diverse project types.

+ Prepare renderings and presentation drawings and lead presentations both internally and externally.

+ Collaborate with and encourage the design work of others to ensure integrated and cohesive designs.

+ Present design solutions to client representatives and design review committees.

+ Mentor and train junior and intermediate staff.

+ Maintain and develop relationships with past, current, and new clients.

Essential Skills

+ Professional degree in Architecture.

+ 8-15 years of experience in the Higher Education market segments.

+ Architectural Registration is required.

+ Proficiency and expertise with Revit, Lumion, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign programs.

+ Strong design, design development, construction, and construction drawing skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ LEED AP accreditation is preferred.

+ Experience in K-12, higher education, and athletics is highly desirable.

+ A technical background in architecture, construction documents, and construction administration is required.

+ Residential or retail experience is not applicable for this position.

Work Environment

This role is based in southeastern Michigan. The position involves working in a collaborative office environment that values employee inclusion and integration. The successful candidate will use various design software tools, including Revit, Lumion, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Troy, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

- the pay is hourly and eligible for overtime over 40 hours.
