    Job Title: Quality Manager Job Description

     

    Ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to several customers, internal, and 3rd party audits, including ISO9001 and IATF16949. Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes through internal audits. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that process owners meet key performance indicator goals. Conduct annual Management Review Meetings and maintain the Document Control Program.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and monitor the Training Program.

    + Oversee the Internal Audit Program.

    + Supervise QA Inspectors and QA Specialists.

    + Execute customer complaint investigations and respond to customers.

    + Monitor APQPs and PPAPs.

    + Conduct all required internal and external meetings.

    + Facilitate yearly training on the Quality Management System.

    Essential Skills

    + Quality engineering experience.

    + Proficiency with PPAP, ISO9001, and IATF.

    + Experience with corrective actions.

    + Familiarity with fast-paced/high-volume manufacturing environments.

    + Proficient in QMS and 8D problem-solving methodologies.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 10+ years in a manufacturing environment.

    + 5 years of direct experience in overseeing process design, development, and implementation of a Quality System such as ISO 9001 or IATF16949.

    + Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

    + Excellent organizational skills and initiative.

    + Ability to work well without supervision.

    + Experience with ERP systems.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

    + Lean Manufacturing knowledge, including 5S, Green/Black Belt, 6 Sigma, and experience with 8D Reports.

    Work Environment

    The position operates in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. The role requires proficiency with modern technologies and methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and 6 Sigma. The use of ERP systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel is integral to daily operations.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Santa Fe Springs, California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
