    A Spiritual Care Advisor at Munson Healthcare focuses on ensuring spiritual care for hospice patients, families, and caregivers by conducting assessments and providing timely services. This includes developing and updating interdisciplinary care plans, collaborating with local clergy, and offering direct spiritual support based on patient and family needs. The individual serves as a liaison to community chaplains and spiritual counselors, maintaining documentation of services and communication. They also recruit and educate volunteers and community partners, facilitate memorial services, and support staff with personal spiritual or bereavement needs. Additionally, the role involves participation in care team meetings, educating team members about spiritual care, and fostering an inclusive environment that respects diverse beliefs and values.

    What’s Required:

    Experience/Education

    + A four-year bachelor's degree - Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology (B.D., M.Div. or equivalent theological degree).

    + Experience working with death and dying, individuals/family/caregivers.

    + Hospice/home health experience preferred
