DSI is adding to its ranks in the Miami, FL area. Come join our fast-growing team as a Security Officer. Bilingual Preferred.

$16.50/hr.

DSI Security is currently hiring Security Site Supervisors in the Coral Gables, FL area. To be considered for employment applicants must have a current Class D Security License.

All interested Security Site Supervisor candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must have a current Class D Security License

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Must have High School Diploma or GED

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Minimum of 7 years experience in Security

• Prior military, law enforcement, or corrections experience preferred, but not required

• Must have reliable means of transportation and telephone

• Must be able to pass Criminal and Drug Screenings

• Must have good communications skills, and be computer literate.

• Must be able to perform routine foot patrol and do moderate lifting.

Security Site Supervisor Job Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Controls access as directed by post instructions.

Security Site Supervisor Job Duties (As directed by post instructions):

• Responsible for the day to day management of the site, including client and employee relations

• Manage staff to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws.

• Conduct training on post orders, as well as company policy and procedures

• Manage security operations based on requirements set forth in client contracts

• Manage overtime

• Ensure the needs of clients are consistently met in a timely and efficient manner.

• Maintain client relationship according to company policy to ensure satisfaction and retention.

• Create a positive work environment

• Maintain a positive professional manner at all times

• Communicate with all levels of staff and clientele effectively and routinely

• Communicate with branch management regarding all issues, scheduling, staffing and record keeping that are related to client

• Assist in securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points

• Being alert to observe, correct and report fire & safety hazards

• Regulating and directing traffic, as necessary

• Providing effective access and exit controls to ensure compliance with the client’s instituted badge or pass control system, if applicable

• Maintains visibility to ensure/deter unacceptable activities.

• Presents oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct

• Promoting safety to prevent accidents

• Providing building and premises security to the clients’ properties
