Job Title: Manager Rehabilitation ServicesDepartment: Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation- RidgewayLocation: 2655 Ridgeway Avenue, Suite 320, Rochester, NY 14626Hours Per Week: Mon-Friday with occasional weekend support at Unity Acute CareSchedule: Days | Must work until 6pm at least two shift per weekSUMMARY:

Manages all acute, outpatient and rehabilitation therapy staff and programs under the general direction of the Director. Responsible for the quality and quantity of services provided. Provides direct patient care to a clinical caseload. Manages secretarial/office component; participates on Leadership Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Oversees Physical Therapy (Inpatient/Acute Rehab), Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy programs and staff.

+ Manages hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.

+ Develops, updates, and enforces departmental policies and procedures.

+ Provides clinical, professional, and interpersonal training to support staff growth.

+ Monitors productivity, manages scheduling, and implements improvements for efficiency and fiscal viability.

+ Allocates patient caseloads and adjusts distribution as needed.

+ Sets annual departmental goals aligned with hospital objectives and financial constraints.

+ Prepares budgets, maximizes revenue opportunities, and manages supply/equipment procurement and maintenance.

+ Leads and participates in quality improvement and safety initiatives; ensures compliance with QA standards and mandatory training.

+ Performs direct patient care as a Physical Therapist.

+ Assumes additional responsibilities as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ BS/MS/dPT degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or in Speech-Language Pathology

+ Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology work experience

+ N.Y.S. License in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:

+ Previous supervisory experience preferred.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:

$75,000.00 - $127,500.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
