Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

+ Assemble instrument transformers according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.

+ Utilize hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches to complete assembly tasks.

+ Ensure all components are properly aligned, calibrated, and installed according to quality standards.

+ Conduct inspections and tests to verify conformance with specifications and quality requirements.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

+ Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve production goals and resolve any assembly issues.

+ Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

Desired Characteristics

+ Technical training or certification in mechanical assembly

+ Proven experience as a general assembler or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.

+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches.

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembly work.

+ Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

+ Basic computer skills for data entry and accessing work instructions.

+ Previous experience specifically in assembling instrument transformers or similar electrical equipment.

+ Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.

+ Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and make adjustments as necessary.

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to lift and maneuver heavy components and equipment.

+ Comfortable standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
