Area Director to lead business and programmatic operations for an assigned area, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. What You'll Do
• Oversee Operations – Monitor the daily operations of your assigned area to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Lead and Develop Staff – You'll be responsible for hiring, training, supervising, coaching, and developing staff to achieve desired results and maximize employee engagement.
• Build Community – Promote positive working relationships and build community partnerships through public speaking and participation in community organizations.
• Manage Programs and Budgets – Oversee all program services to ensure the needs of the people we serve are met. You'll also translate fiscal information into operational decisions.
Who You Are
• An Experienced Leader with at least two years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
• A Strategic Thinker who can recognize potential problems and provide solutions, and can adapt to changing demands.
• A Skilled Communicator who can establish and maintain open communication with staff, individuals served, and their families.
• A Relationship Builder with the ability to build community partnerships and relationships with state officials and trade associations.
Requirements
You should have:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field
+ Minimum of five years experience in a related field, with two years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
+ Motivation to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment
+ Effective time management and prioritization skills
Good to have (but not deal breakers):
+ Successful experience in budget management and human resources preferred.
