RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY:
• Leads medium to large-sized projects and/or most complex projects within the Information Technology (IT) department.
• Provides technical expertise and guidance in formulation of procedures and best practice for users, setting priorities and technical direction.
• Responsible for the quality of all activities and deliverables, regular communication and status updates, and facilitating change management as needed.
• Provides administrative and project management support to the IT Project Management Office (PMO).
• Supervises and directs work of assigned staff.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
• Occasional scheduled night and weekend work to complete assignments and projects.
• Work may be performed at various locations under varying conditions.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in information technology or related field; or four (4) years of experience in information technology may be substituted for the educational requirement.
B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Current and active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute or Project Management degree from an accredited university.
C. EXPERIENCE:
• In addition to the educational requirement, three (3) years experience in information technology.
• Three (3) years project management experience with budgetary and human resource management responsibilities.
• Experience to demonstrate the following:
o Strong organizational and leadership skills.
o Business metrics and reporting.
o Ability to compile and analyze data.
o Proficiency with Microsoft applications, i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project.
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare computer technology and clinical and revenue cycle information systems in an acute care facility or integrated healthcare delivery application system environment preferred.
• Prior experience with Visio preferred.
