    Job Description

    USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

     

    Architecture and Engineering support: Provides systems engineering and architecture support for AFNWC. Provides comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services. Interfaces with O&S personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects, as directed. Reviews existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required. Responsible for planning, solutioning, and improvement of AFWNC capabilities with a specific focus on cybersecurity and the implementation and design of the application layer.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

     

    Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience - fine with 7-8 years

     

    Model-Based Systems Engineering

     

    Must be proficient in the implementation of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

     

    Must have the ability to utilize UML/SysML modeling tools (Cameo Enterprise Architect or MagicDraw preferred).

     

    Must have the ability to model according to the Unified Architectural Framework (UAF) specification. OCSMP certification.

     

    INCOSE CSEP certification.

     

    Familiarity with fUML executable models.

     

    Experience developing applications using object-oriented programming languages (Java preferred)
