Our team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced TPM Manager to partner strategically with cross-functional teams and deliver outstanding user experiences across RL products.Our mission is to create user-facing software and experiences that engage billions of people, seamlessly integrating core technologies in operating systems, computer vision, machine learning, speech, and health & wellness.As a TPM Manager, you will lead and grow a team of Technical Program Managers responsible for highly cross-functional projects in health, fitness, and wellness features across our AI and augmented reality (AR) wearable devices. You will collaborate with software engineering, product management, release management, and quality assurance teams, aligning efforts into cohesive programs and driving them forward.You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how we build and deliver our wearables portfolio, both now and in the future, while being part of an organization that values career development and personal growth. In this role, you will manage and mentor the team, drive high-level strategic initiatives, and roll up your sleeves to execute when needed.

Manager, Technical Program Management - Wearables Software Responsibilities:
1. Grow and support a team of TPMs. Provide performance reviews, continuous feedback, coaching, and career development
2. Create and foster a team approach of executional rigor and high product quality
3. Turn requirements into actionable plans that drive clarity, urgency, and alignment
4. Lead efforts to create transparency, predictability, and accountability in all areas of execution
5. Communicate with clarity and precision to ensure alignment across teams
6. Drive technical rigor by coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables, including architectural diagrams, specifications, launch criteria, and test plans
7. Collaborate effectively, build relationships, and influence team members and cross-functional leaders to set and achieve product objectives
8. Collaborate with engineering, product, data, and design leadership to shape and execute the long-term strategy for your Reality Labs software organization
9. Collaborate with partner teams and leadership to ensure that what we build strikes the right balance between cost, risk, and benefit, while focusing on the highest priority business and customer needs
Minimum Qualifications:

10. B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
11. 7+ years of experience in the software industry or in technical product/program management
12. 3+ years of people management experience, leading teams to deliver technical programs or products from inception to delivery
13. Demonstrate strong communication and relational skills, including building relationships and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
14. Experience with ambiguity and change, and bringing clarity to the team
15. Experience delivering technology programs or products from inception to delivery
16. Demonstrated experience leading teams to deliver highly ambiguous and complex products and programs
17. Experience operating with initiative across multiple teams, demonstrating systems and product thinking, and providing thought leadership
18. Demonstrated experience in making technical and product tradeoffs, balancing business needs and technical constraints
19. Experience working on consumer electronics products

Public Compensation:
$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
