Job Summary:

Ski and ride, every day, while at work! The Competition Services team is responsible for the setup/tear down and maintenance of our racecourses, competition and event venues, and other mountain operation needs at both Attitash and Wildcat. This position operates as a part of a wider team and interfaces with many teams and groups across the mountain. A successful candidate must be willing and able to complete job duties in extreme winter weather conditions for extended periods.

Job Specifications:

+ Starting Wage: $25.00/hr - $31.26/hr

+ Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026

+ Shift Type: Full Time hours available

+ Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

+ Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities:

+ Ensure safety is #1 priority for all competition services staff

+ Coach, motivate, develop and retain all competition services staff

+ Oversee completion of performance management for all staff

+ Ensure successful execution of all on-mountain events and competitions held at Attitash and Wildcat

+ Responsible for all financial aspects of the competition center, including revenue, labor, expenses

+ Oversee all event contracts and insurance as required for all events

+ Oversee maintenance of all on and off-hill facilities and equipment, including safety and timing equipment

+ Attend all Resort and Mountain meetings as required

+ Partner and collaborate with all Attitash and Wildcat departments to ensure a consistent and high levelexperience for all employees and guests

+ Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

+ Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience within the snow sports/biking competition industry or mountain operations

+ High level of proficiency in timing software, Microsoft Office

+ Demonstrated organizational and communication skills

+ Strong intrapersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team

+ Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs

+ Ability to work outside in variable conditions for long periods of time

+ Ability to work holidays, weekends and evenings

+ Racecourse Officials license – Preferred

+ Timing and Calculations USSA official’s license - Preferred

The expected pay range is $25.00/hr - $31.26/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
