    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to operate various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment at construction or industrial sites. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of crane operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials according to project requirements.

    + Perform daily safety and operational inspections on crane equipment.

    + Ensure safe lifting practices and compliance with site safety regulations.

    + Signal or communicate with riggers and other team members to ensure safe movements.

    + Maintain accurate records of crane operations and log maintenance checks.

    + Load and unload equipment and materials using appropriate attachments or rigging.

    + Monitor crane operations for mechanical issues and report any malfunctions.

    + Follow site plans, blueprints, or instructions from supervisors for lifting tasks.

    + Assist with site setup and equipment mobilization as needed.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Valid crane operator certification/license.

    + Strong knowledge of crane load charts, rigging, and lifting procedures.

    + Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.

    + Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.

    + Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA or local safety standards.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience in construction.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

    + Familiarity with hydraulic and mechanical crane systems.

    + Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Ability to sit, stand, climb, or walk for extended periods.

    + Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

    + Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions.
