    Position Overview:

    As part of the talented Distribution team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and organization of inbound and outbound operations, supporting both manufacturing and distribution excellence.

    Essential Functions:

    + Review daily test reports and audit dock inventory for accuracy.

    + Identify items not in test and verify Work-In-Progress (WIP) status.

    + Ensure dock space availability for live loads and dropped trailers.

    + Monitor storage order accuracy based on arrival and receipt dates.

    + Enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices on the receiving dock.

    + Investigate inventory discrepancies, log damages, and ensure proper documentation.

    + Prioritize and ensure immediate put-away of hot items by material handler drivers.

    + Monitor deconsolidation area for proper storage order and adequate staffing.

    + Check lab area for unprocessed Greenline items.

    + Prepare receiving paperwork and resolve discrepancies with buyers.

    + Monitor the Expo website for upcoming container arrivals.

    + Ensure log sheets are completed and time tracking data is entered accurately.

    + Ensure wave processes are completed correctly and close parameters when necessary.

    + Assist trainers with supporting hourly team members and adjusting workflows as needed throughout the day.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    + Communicate with buyers, engineers, and office staff to verify product receipt and location.

    + Collaborate with Transportation and Inventory Control Specialist and/or Distribution Specialist when issues arise.

    + Coordinate with transportation to ensure timely completion of hot orders.

    + Work with trainers to ensure SOPs and processes are followed correctly.

    + Recommend improvements to procedures, policies, and practices to enhance department performance and safety.

     

    Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

    + Ability to work collaboratively with trainers, drivers, and inventory control teams

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to analyze inventory data and resolve discrepancies

    + Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking tools

    + Ability to lead and support process improvements

    + Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and professionalism

    + 3+ Years of experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse environment

    + Familiarity with inventory control and dock operations

    + Familiarity with FIFO practices and bulk storage

    + Experience communicating with cross-functional teams including transportation and inventory control

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience in a leadership role displaying interpersonal skills, attention to detail, strong analytical, time management & organizational skills

    + Some secondary education

    Working Conditions:

    + Standard shift operates Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

    + Occasional to frequent daily/weekend overtime based on seasonal and business needs

    + Ability to be on feet for 8–10 hours of each shift in a fast-paced environment

    + Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, and crouch frequently

    + Must follow proper lifting techniques while keeping safety at the forefront of all tasks

    + Must be able to manage stress due to tight deadlines and scheduling appointments

    + Must be able to multitask and shift priorities frequently

     

    The anticipated pay range for this position is **_$41,400-$62,300_** _,_ annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

     

    At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
