    **BayCare’s South Florida Baptist Hospital** is seeking a dedicated and compassionate **Outpatient Physical Therapist** to join our rehabilitation team. The therapist will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or managing chronic conditions. This role supports BayCare’s mission of clinical excellence, dignity, and respect in every patient interaction.

    Outpatient Physical Therapist Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

    + Deliver outpatient physical therapy services using evidence-based techniques.

    + Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

    + Supervise and provide clinical direction to Physical Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and students.

    + Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and recovery strategies.

    + Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and BayCare standards.

    + Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education.

    Qualifications:

    + **Education:** Bachelor's degree required or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program preferred.

    + **Licensure:** Current Florida Physical Therapist license or eligible to obtain.

    + **Licensure:** Temporary Physical Therapist license and licensure within 6 months.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

    + Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
