    **HPC-Industrial** , powered by Clean Harbors, in **Dearborn, MI** is looking for a **Insite Technician**  to work at various customer locations, and to join their safety conscious team! This team member supports the technical aspects of day-to-day operations at a plant-level facility. This role is based in a large industrial paint facility, which includes both cleanroom areas and more rugged, dirty environments. The position requires extensive walking, as well as climbing stairs and ladders.. The ** Insite Technician** serves as representative of **HPC-Industrial** in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. **Transitioning Military** , this is a great opportunity to leverage your skills and training as you return to civilian life.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    + Collect operational data, including water chemistry measurements (TSS, pH, turbidity, conductivity, etc.).

    + Monitor and adjust equipment setpoints.

    + Inspect and replace chemical or paint totes as needed.

    + Enter data into databases and tracking tools.

    + Develop and maintain plant data boards, including troubleshooting issues and creating/tracking countermeasures.

    + Prepare and deliver daily and weekly reports.

    + Perform other related tasks as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;

     

    Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;

     

    Valid driver license and other requirements of company’s driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business;

     

    OSHA certification may be required for this job;

     

    Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers;

     

    May have to provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).

     

    What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial? 

     

    + High School diploma or equivalent (required);

    + Mechanically inclined with experience in technical or industrial work.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

    + Ability to climb ladders and work around industrial equipment.

    + Must be comfortable working in a large industrial paint facility that requires frequent walking, standing, and exposure to varied environments (clean and dirty areas).
