Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Pulmonary Rehab Technician, you will observe telemetry monitors, while watching for changes in heart rhythms, record data, and alert Respiratory Therapist of changes. You will function in a team environment, providing quality care to our patients as a primary focus.
In this role:
+ You will continuously observe heart rhythm, blood pressure and Spo2 monitors to note changes.
+ You will notify charge person of changes.
+ You will post rhythm strips on each patient in phase II chart.
+ You will instruct patient on equipment use.
+ You will provide patient education on disease processes and restorative measures for lifestyle changes.
+ You will perform 6-minute walk tests.
+ You will perform patient evaluation for program eligibility and assessment.
+ You will plan and implement individualized treatment plans for inpatient and outpatient
+ Patient evaluation can be conducted either inpatient or outpatient as needed
+ Oxygen Titrations
+ Other duties as assigned
What qualifications you will need:
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
+ (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
