**Location:** Hickory, NC

**Position Type:** Full-Time

Shift Options:

+ First Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

+ Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM

+ Third Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM **Pay:** $19/hour

About the Role

As an Extruder Operator, you’ll play a key role in the heart of our production process. You’ll be responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting extrusion machinery to ensure consistent, high-quality output. This role offers hands-on work with modern equipment and a chance to be part of a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and innovation.

What You’ll Do

+ Operate and monitor extruder machinery to produce foam products according to specifications

+ Perform regular inspections and minor maintenance to keep production running smoothly

+ Adjust machine settings to match material and product requirements

+ Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with standards

+ Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues; escalate major issues promptly

+ Maintain accurate production records and follow safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

+ Minimum 2 years of extrusion experience (LDPE foam experience is a plus)

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

+ Solid math, communication, and time management skills

+ Basic computer literacy

+ Ability to read and interpret product drawings and digital calipers

+ Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts as needed

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, variable-temperature plant environment
