• Sustaining Engineer - Chassis

    Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility technology, is seeking a Sustaining Engineer - Chassis to join their team. As a Sustaining Engineer - Chassis, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Sustaining Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong collaboration abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Sustaining Engineer - Chassis

    **Pay Range:** $80 per hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Own sustaining engineering efforts for assigned chassis subsystems, from issue identification through fleet implementation

    + Lead design updates and validation of chassis components to ensure durability and performance

    + Partner with suppliers to implement robust corrective actions and improve part reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability

    + Author Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and develop validation test plans for subsystem-level changes

    + Lead fleet trials and analyze data to confirm long-term improvements in durability and performance

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred

    + 6–8 years of experience in chassis, powertrain, or mechanical systems engineering within a product design and manufacturing environment

    + Proven ability to deliver subsystem-level corrective actions that enhance reliability and serviceability of complex mechanical products (EV or automotive experience preferred)

    + Deep knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing/fabrication processes

    + Proficiency with 3D CAD tools, especially CATIA
