    Our client, a leader in livestock identification and packaging solutions, is seeking a Laser Operator to join their team. As a Laser Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and a strong work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Laser Operator 3rd shift (BRLA)

    **Location:** Baton Rouge, LA

     

    Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.50

     

    **Shift:** Nights and Days

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Operate laser, inkjet, or E.I.D. marking stations to mark Livestock Identification tags according to SOP

    + Label and package products ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met

    + Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures to maintain a safe work environment

    + Ensure all workstations are functioning efficiently and tasks are completed on time

    + Train new employees using buddy system training to perform tasks at various levels

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Basic computer skills to operate marking equipment

    + Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hand-eye coordination tasks

    + Willingness to follow safety protocols and procedures

    + Attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy

    + Ability to record downtime accurately and respond promptly to operational issues
