Our client, a leading organization in workplace safety and environmental health, is seeking a SAF Fit Tester to join their team. As a SAF Fit Tester, you will be part of the Health, Safety & Environment department supporting the DETROIT ABR MAINTENANCE team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** SAF Fit Tester

**Location:** Warren, MI

**Pay Range:** $19 per hour

What's the Job?

+ Assist with respirator fit testing to ensure proper safety protocols are followed

+ Support noise dosimetry surveys and identify strategies to reduce noise exposure

+ Contribute to chemical exposure monitoring initiatives to maintain compliance

+ Help improve Lock Out/Tag Out procedures for enhanced safety

+ Conduct ergonomic assessments and suggest improvements for packaging processes

What's Needed?

+ 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial health and safety roles

+ Knowledge of industrial hygiene practices, including chemical and noise exposure monitoring

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

+ Experience with hygiene sampling or certification is preferred

+ High School diploma or GED required
